Scheduled reports

The Reports screen lets you schedule a recurring email report — the same numbers you'd see reviewing the app yourself, sent to whoever needs them without anyone having to log in and check.

Creating a schedule

Each schedule has:

Field Notes
Scope Your whole MSP, or one specific client
Cadence Weekly or monthly
Day Day of week (weekly) or day of month, 1-28 (monthly)
Time Hour of day, UTC
Recipients 1-20 email addresses
Include CSV attachment On by default
Include PDF attachment Off by default
Enabled Pause a schedule without deleting it

CSV and PDF are independent -- attach either, both, or neither. Both options being off still sends the email; it just has no attachment.

You can have up to 10 schedules per account -- enough to cover, for example, a whole-MSP weekly digest plus a few clients' own monthly QBR material.

What's in the email

Every scheduled message renders the same six sections, in this order:

  1. Headline counts -- open exceptions by severity, for the scope.
  2. Trend -- a one-line summary of what changed: how many exceptions were fixed and how many are new since the last period.
  3. Top 20 open exceptions -- the highest-severity findings, so the most urgent items are visible without opening the app.
  4. Billing recovery -- the estimated monthly revenue you are not billing, from open not-billed findings (included only for accounts with a ConnectWise PSA connection and omitted entirely otherwise -- never a made-up number).
  5. Onboarding -- the scope's onboarding rollup (% fully onboarded, per-step miss counts), the same computation the device-onboarding export and screen use.
  6. Staleness note -- a plain-language line when any source's data is old enough that a rule reading it was skipped for this run, so the message never reads as more complete than it actually is.

The CSV attachment

When "Include CSV attachment" is on, the message attaches the exact same device-matrix export rows a person exporting that scope from the UI would get, at send time -- a scheduled message's numbers can never drift from what you'd see exporting it yourself.

The PDF attachment

When "Include PDF attachment" is on, the message also attaches a PDF rendering of the same six sections above -- same headline counts, same trend sentence, same top-20 exceptions, same billing, onboarding and staleness lines, laid out for printing (page size, margins, a header/table typeface). It is a rendering of the same report the email body already shows, not a second, separately-computed report -- nothing about the PDF can disagree with the numbers in the message it rides along with.

Delivery

Messages are sent by email. Delivery failures are recorded on the schedule (visible as its last-send status) so you know if a message silently didn't go out.
